SILVER BENGALS
The inhibitor gene is responsible for the silver coloration in Bengal cats, it is a dominant gene so to obtain this color it is sufficient for one of the parents to be silver, as it is dominant there are no carriers of this gene.
The coloration of Silvers' eyes can vary but it's often green or amber yellow
The rufisms are a negative characteristic in Silvers and appear as brown or reddish shades on silver, this happens because the gene does not completely inhibit the warm pigmentations of the coat.
If the gene is strong and manages to eliminate the warm pigments it leads to a white undercoat with black rosettes creating a silver effect combined with the glitter that Bengals present, giving cats with this coloration a dazzling appearance and a completely unique charm.
